Children researched aspects of their local area to share with their partner school

At the start of the project the students got to know each other in their groups using the forums. They completed pupil profiles that they shared with their partner school and uploaded photos of themselves. Students set up wiki projects to share information about their school and their town.They took photos of their school using a digital camera and recorded information using a voice recorder. They put this together to make a short DVD about their school. They then planned a walking tour of their local area and took photos of the main sights to see.
